i hav a back complaint from a riding injury 16 yrs ago but last few weeks i've had severe mid back pain & spasms which travels round 2 my right front?

my last two period cycles have been more watery and lighter. i also have been experiencing lower to mid back pain and stiffness and bloating. i am afraid that i may be experiencing symptoms of ovarian cancer. what may be causing these symptoms?

Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. Ovarian cancer does not have specific symptoms. It would be prudent to see your doctor and discuss if you may be anemic.

Nonspecific: Your complaint is unfortunately rather nonspecific and could be due to any number of things, such as chest pathology (i.e. Lungs, hear, great vessels), soft tissue inflammation (myofasciitis), spine (disc degeneration, pinched nerve, etc).  If the pain has been present for a long time or is not getting any better you should see a physician.

Upper UTI: It is possible that right kidney is involved. Contact to your prescriber if you feel did not get any better by now.

Pain: Hard to know for sure what this is without knowing your vitals and asking more questions.  Probably best to call your OB/midwife.  Even if the office is closed he/she probably has an answering service.  Would be concerned if associated with worsening shortness of breath.  This could be a variety of things, some serious and some easily addressed.  Make the call today

Referred pain: This could very well be referred pain from the nerve compression due to cervical stenosis however chest and mud back pain could be due to other serious cardiac causes such as an aneurysm or an impending heart attack/ angina. You need to visit the Emergency department immediately

Pleuritis--see M.D.: This pain at the end of a deep breath in the back at the age of 27 if you are healthy suggests to me pleuritis or costochondritis.  If you have no fever then it is likely not bacterial but viral as it usually is found to be.  Regardless, If this is ongoing for more than a couple of days, I would see your doctor.  If you have a family history of significant heart disease, I would call your M.D. now
