Pleuritis--see M.D.: This pain at the end of a deep breath in the back at the age of 27 if you are healthy suggests to me pleuritis or costochondritis. If you have no fever then it is likely not bacterial but viral as it usually is found to be. Regardless, If this is ongoing for more than a couple of days, I would see your doctor. If you have a family history of significant heart disease, I would call your M.D. now
