Nonspecific: Your complaint is unfortunately rather nonspecific and could be due to any number of things, such as chest pathology (i.e. Lungs, hear, great vessels), soft tissue inflammation (myofasciitis), spine (disc degeneration, pinched nerve, etc). If the pain has been present for a long time or is not getting any better you should see a physician.
