Discontinue: Some of these symptoms are listed as possible side effects of nitrofurantoin. I recommend that you discontinue your macrobid. Other antibacterial agents are available for you to take. If your urinary tract infection is in the bladder(macrobid shouldn't be used for kidney infection) get a urine culture,sensitivity, and colony count before taking any other antibiotic. Viral uri: A viral upper respiratory tract infection can explain all your symptoms except hand numbness. The numbness sensation may be positional, but if true numbness is present,an associated neuropathy is suggested and your physician should examine you.

Neuritis, Gastritis: I understand your concern for your health.
At age 21, stresses of relationships , education, work and finances can cause anxiety and depression and   use of alcohol.
Alcohol use can lead to neuritis, gastritis and pancreatitis causing legs and hand pain, and stomach pain. It is not what you eat, it is what is eating you!please see a psychiatrist for diagnosis and treatment.

Many things/GI bleed: This can be bleeding from anywhere in your GI tract from your stomach onwards.  It might be an ulcer in your stomach or intestine, it might be a form of ulcerative colitis in your colon, or it could be an anal fissure especially if it's painful.  The cold chills and clammy hands may be due to the possibility that you've been bleeding for some time and it's wise to see your doctor soon.  Good luck.

See a doctor: You need to see a doctor. But does eating make it better or worse? Are you having fever? Is there a lump associated with the pain? Are you pregnant?  The pain you describe could be anything. Pain is bad so Jo see a doctor.

Take a test: Home pregnancy tests are very accurate. They are the same tests used in a doctors office. They can detect a pregnancy 7-10 days after conception. The best time to take one is when you miss your period.  If you doubt the result you can repeat it in 1-2 days. If you were pregnant the hormone level would rise enough for detection.
