Not likely: Likely acid induced. If you had an EGD for diagnosis these lesions are usually biopsied. Talk to your gastroenterologist about your worries.

Put again?: I would not reccomend placement of another band for at least one year or even consider a different bariatric procedure all together.

It means nothing ser: This is a twisted way of saying that there is nothing serious that the biopsy shows! the key word here is "inactive". If it was " active", then you would be told that you have mild gastritis. I would not worry about this biopsy report., . Of course your doctor who did the biopsy should be able to answer your questions and guide you further.!

Discuss the findings with the doc who ordered the testing to place it in context of your personal history and exam. At that point you can discuss potential causes and treatment.

Betaine hydrochloride used to be included in over-the-counter (OTC) products as a “stomach acidifier and digestive aid.” But a federal law that went into effect in 1993 banned betaine hydrochloride from use in OTC products because there wasn’t enough evidence to classify it “generally recognized as safe and effective.”  Why were you taking 20?

i am having erosions in my stomach and i am using medication from my doctor as prescribed.. it does not seem to help completely but provides relied.. i was researching online and found cabbage juice helps faster recovery..need advise..

Foods do help,  but.: Certain foods some more than other, can help relief from gastritis,  such as milk,
antacids, and milk of magnesia,  but doses cannot be regulated.  Discuss the dose
of the medication your doctor prescribed
