It is placed around the upper portion of your stomach and typically patients "feel full", upper portion of the stomach distends with small amount food. The sensory nerves that trigger your brain to switch from hunger to satiety are also in this upper part of your stomach. There are additional procedures and programs to help.

Gallbladder,,,: You might have a gallstone causing this.  It might also be from a pancreatic issue like pancreatitis.  It would be art to see your doctor for an exam and tests, and probably right away, especially if the pain doesn't let up or gets worse.

Depends on you: Although surgery is often necessary for significant weight loss it also takes a patient willing to work hard also.  Avoiding high calorie foods is also necessary.  You can drink wendy's frostiness all day and still gain weight.

Get examined and: tested for gallbladder disease, including a physical exam, blood testing and an abdominal ultrasound or CT scan. Please call for an appointment ASAP.

left lower stomach pain gastric band removal 4 months ago blood test all good but orange mucus in every stool concerned ! could this be cancer?

Psible but stil rare: Unclear what the orange mucus is.  Blood will sometimes appear orange in stool  hemorrhoids, not cancer, would be the most comon cause of blood in the stools but this usually is bright red.  You should have an md test for blood in the stool.  If   negative, u can look for other causes (?Diet)

if positive, you will need a colonoscopy to rule out diverticulosis, polyp or less likely a cancer.

there is a rash on the right side of my stomach its in a band it's small red and itchy been there for 1 week now i've tried creams and anti histamine?

See doctor: The pattern and location of the rash can be helpful.  Itchy, burning, blistering rashes that are in a band like pattern may be "shingles" which is from the varicella -zoster virus which causes chicken pox.  The reactivation can occur under times of stress.  The rash will follow a "dermatome" which is the nerve root pattern.

Degrees: Band: appliance surg inserted to cinch stomach; adv.-easier surgery, reversible; disadv-less wt loss, less sustained, higher failure rate, compl, slippage, etc. Stapling-surg restrictive procedure; adv: more sustained, succ. Than above; disadv-still easy to cheat/wt gain (e.g. Melt ice cream, then drink it). Bypass: combo restrict and malabsorp; adv: more effective; dis: bigger  op, more nutr risk.
