How long?: Pain is normal in the first 1-2 weeks after surgery. But it should be getting better each day. If getting worse or associated with fevers, vomiting etc see your surgeon. If not, and Gerri g slightly better everyday you are probably ok. Add ibuprofen to your pain mess for additional pain control. See excellent posts here for additional techniques to manage pain
