Ice and elevate: Sounds like this is a reaction to the sting.  I'd recommend ice, elevating your foot, using nsaids (like ibuprofen), and benadryl (diphenhydramine).

You need to figure: Out why you are swollen......then determine if the stinging and burning are related or not....what did your doctor say? Have you seen one? If not, it would be a good time too....

See dr, regularly: You appear to have good control of your diabetes, but your symptoms may be early neuropathy. Do not be discouraged, but this can occur in long standing Diabetes even with good control at this time.  be diligent and keep regular appt.s with your Dr. to monitor the area and if need be treatment can occur. More info needed: sharp, stinging pains in the feet and toes may signal a peripheral neuropathy. Common causes of peripheral neuropathy include diabetes and alcohol abuse. Your doctor can help sort this out and order appropriate tests.

Bunions can cause these types of pains. It depends on how severe the bunion is if you possible irritated it recently. If you notice that certain movements of your big toe make it worse or cause the bee sting sensation, probably it could be the bunion causing some ligament strain in your foot. Hope this helps. i have stinging in my ankle area. toes turn slightly blue occasionally. i also sometimes have cramping in my calf area. my ankles swell sometimes.

Veins: Varicose or insufficiency of leg veins may be the cause. The vein problem may be internal and thus obvious varicose veins may not be present. I recommend an examination by a vascular surgeon especially if you get relief by elevating your legs or wearing support stockings.

i have a grade a weber fracture, however i am experiencing some stinging and burning in my toes and foot, the foot is the top part up even with my ankles?

: This is considered a minor fracture of the ankle involving the fibula bone. Perhaps during the trauma you sustained some superficial nerve injury 
 accounting for the foot and toe symptoms or associated swelling of foot or ankle compressed these nerves. I suspect in time these symptoms will resolve. Your treating MD or orthopedic specialist can better answer your question, however.

A few things: Sharp pains in the toes can be due to a bone spur, arthritis, nerve irritation, injury, poor fitting shoes among many other things. You may need to see a podiatrist and get x-rays to narrow down the possibilities and start treatment.

Several: Pain in that area can be many things..Sesamoiditis, joint capsule pain, tendonitis, etc. The key is to identify the apex of the problem...A podiatrist can help do this and get you on the way to full pain free activity.
