Hearing test: Lloyds chemists have nothing to do with a hearing test. You should never rely on a hearing test without intervention of an ENT specialist (Ear-Nose and Throat specialist), especially if it's your first time getting a diagnosis. Lloyd's is specialized however in hearing aids. Get your ear exam and audiogram from ENT not the supplier of the Hearing Aid that they will sell you, conflict of interest.

Unsure: There are only a couple of fda approved home HIV test kits.  Lloyds may just be distributing a test for another company. You should go on-line and specifically see if an fda approval has been issued for the name of the manufacturer. Make sure you test exactly as stated, no exceptions. Follow instructions explicitly for the results to be meaningful.

Loose joint?: The joint may be lax and unstable making you at risk for dislocation.  Physical therapy can help in the long run. Consult an orthopedist for an evaluation and a referral to appropriate therapy.

i'm on 40mg citalapram daily finding it hard to read out loud i start off ok but my words begin to slur and i feel my face droping?

Unusual side effects: Those would be unusual side effects to citalopram.  If they started with the medicine, then they probably are related, but if you have been on the medicine for a while, i would look for other causes.  If you just started the medicine, perhaps you will be able to tolerate it at a lower dose and then slowly titrate up to 40 mg.  You should talk to your prescribing physician.

right after i lay down on my back or side, my stomach starts to make a lot of noise. it's not painful...just really loud. is there something wrong?

Runmbling belly--ok: Some rumbling is quite common and it is typically more noticeable when you are relaxing/laying down chilling out. It is so because Adrenalin is low and environment at night is often more quiet and so you can feel and hear more. As long it is not causing pain or bothering you, i would not worry too much. Often, some meditation can help quiet things down a bit. If concerning, consult doc. Good luck.

May have some nasal : Passage pathology, ie swelling or narrowing, causing. See an ENT specialist.

what could cause someone to suddenly start snoring? my husband used to rarely snore, but over the last few months, hes started snoring really loud almost every night. what could have caused this?

There : There are a few things to consider.
- weight gain can increase the risk for snoring and sleep apnea. Simply getting at weight and comparing it to a year ago will give you an idea on this.
- he might have developed nasal allergies that contribute to nasal congestion and upper airway narrowing.

Loud snoring can be a presenting sign for sleep apnea. I recommend that he discuss this with his primary care physician to see if he needs further evaluation with a sleep study to look for sleep  apnea.

i was at a funeral just yesterday, and the drums were really loud, it got better after i left as in my hearing but then it started to get sensitive, even the next day, please tell me this is temporary, just becauee of the loud exposure

Noise.:  This should be temporary. Bring hearing protection in the future if you think there could be lots of noise.

Patellofemoral : From your history, age and gender ( w/o exam!) the most likely dx. Is kneecap subluxation . Press along inside of your kneecap if it is tender than that would correlate w/ your kneecap slipping( unless u are extremely loose jointed ). See ors if knee swells or continues to " pop".
