No necessarily: A minor head injury does not necessarily require examination. If there is no loss of consciousness or prolonged symptoms following minor head trauma evaluation by physician is not necessary.

grew up by love canal &  waste silos from manhattan proj. i have chronic daily migraines for weeks/months. no history back 2 xs great grands both sides. my 3 kids each started them way back in grade school. could this be fhm or something due to me?

Grade school phobia: Absolutely! for a variety of reasons (unpleasant experiences in school, or extreme insecurity/reluctance/fear of leaving home) can result in school phobia. Common manifestations are recurrent abdominal pain or headache occuring only in the morning and only on school days (so that the child doesn't have to go to school). . If the problem is correctly diagnosed, behavioral treatment is effective.

im 17 64 male and my penis hasnt grown since i was in grade school. the girth and length has always been the same. the urologist said im normal. im 2-3 inches soft and a lil above 5 hard with no girth. can you tell your body is fully developed?

Obstructive  sleep apnea can cause all sorts of problems and children with it are frequently mistaken for having attention deficit disorder.

Exercise: This is probably not something to worry about but there are things you can do to help the problem. Aerobic exercise like walking, swimming or biking for 30 -60 minutes 5 time a week can decrease back pain. Strengthening the abdominal muscles also helps relieve back pain. Yoga or seeing a chiropractor may help. Motrin or Aleve (naproxen) around the time of your periods may relieve the pain.

i have chronic migraines lasting weeks to months. no immediate or past family history of migraines, however all 3 of my children developed them in grade school (we frequently have them at the same time). could this be familial hemiplegic migraine?

: There are specific criteria for the diagnosis of Pediatric migraine headaches. Ensure that your children have no ongoing infection, no fever and no vomiting.  If these symptoms occur, please see acute care. Watch for neck stiffness and, discuss treatment with NSAIDs with your pediatrician.

does myopia cause other eye problems? i have had myopia since grade school. is it possible that my nearsightedness will cause other problems with my eyes?

High : High myopia (near sighted) can cause problems. My patients with high myopia are monitored on a regular basis for retina problems and retina tears/breaks. Patients with high myopia require a dilated eye exam to make sure the retina remains healthy.

Good job: Yes, no problem. Exercise can enhance weight loss when dieting, but ultimately a healthy diet is the most important strategy for losing weight. You must be doing a great job to lose 2 pounds a week. I advise taking a good multivitamin to make sure you are getting adequate nutrients. Even if you are busy try to do some activity like walking or biking regularly to enhance fitness and reduce stress.
