i had a negative hiv and std test at dr office at 5 months the dr said test was combo for hiv. its now 8 months and i still have symptoms dr says im fine but i have scalp bumps really bad that hurt didnt have them until after exposure?

: Your test results are 100% reliable and prove you don't have HIV. Something else is causing your "scalp bumps". Since they are painful, a skin infection sounds likely. See a doctor, ideally a dermatologist -- but don't worry about HIV.

: Humans have a healthy balance of simple germs on all their skin surfaces. How often you bathe daily has little effect on this balance. Sexual activity exposes you to whatever the partner brings along, but this does not change with your ritual. Periodic skin/other infections arise when you are exposed to new sources/encounters that transfer the new germs to you. I wouldn't worry about your ritual.

can an antibiotic drug like flagyl be given by a physician without a rx? my boyfriend claims his physician gave him a one-time dose right there in her office without a rx. can this drug be given outright to a patient in this manner for an std??

: A prescription is a direction by a doctor, to a pharmacist, to dispense a certain medication to a patient. A doctor can always dispense medications themselves and note it in the patient's chart. It's not uncommon.

Yes: You need regular health screening for "preventative maintenance" which includes breast exams and pap smear  testing. Std checkups yearly are more dependant upon one's "sexual partner selection and discrimination". The old adage "a ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure" is true!

"Yes": Theoretically, if you were examined with a "contaminated" instrument, then, " yes" you could contract any "sexually-transmit table disease. Obviously, either by error or "intent" this would not be a prudent or appropriate practice, and would be a violation of the standard of care.

Interesting question: In my state, an 18 year old must consent to any information released from my office.This includes the fact that they had an appointment, or anything discussed or found at the visit. They can usually find out you came if the insurance company sends a statement or a billing statement goes to them.However, the reason is private if you chose.

Possible: Most likely issue is a yeast infection or some type of contact dermatitis (allergy or irritant) but  best to get it looked at to be certain.
