A member asked:

Can i get into trouble for not seeing a gynecologist every year when i use to have a std but already got treated?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: You need regular health screening for "preventative maintenance" which includes breast exams and pap smear testing. Std checkups yearly are more dependant upon one's "sexual partner selection and discrimination". The old adage "a ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure" is true!
