: With embryo transfer, the failure rate is significant.  Since the process may be delayed in successful intrauterine attachment, it is appropriate to continue testing with HCG serum, which can detect very low levels of pregnancy hormone. I negative HCG in another week, probability for pregnancy is minimal for this transfer.

A matter of chance: Most non viable pregnancies are the result of an embryo that is genetically abnormal. The majority of embryos are abnormal  and most of these will declare themselves by not growing or not implanting. This is particularly pronounced as you get older. Other than using an egg donor, your best bet is try again with frozen or with fresh embryos.

Follow instructions: Best follow your infertility specialist's instructions.  Because of the medications you received to stimulate ovulation, it is not unusual for your estrogen levels to be high.

Embryos don't quit: Fall out.  The embryo will either attach or not attach.  Embryos are microscopic and would never be seen "coming out or falling out".
When an embryo attaches it is called implantation.

Yes: In theory after genetic analysis the embrios carying y cromosome can be selected for implantation.

Grade 1 isn't 100%: Grade 1/2 embryos are subject to laws of chronological age, iow embryos from 40 year old eggs still have a very limited potential statistically for live births. Even in egg-donor cases its impossible to 'guarantee'  embryos that succeed; estimates are around 1-in-4 embryos on d3 will become clinical pregnancies. Implantation failure is also an area that is poorly understood at this time, .

IVF questions: are always best answered by your own doctor. Gonadotropins usually begin by the 3rd day of the menstrual cycle, leuprolide can begin at that same time or up to 2 weeks earlier. GnRHa is given mid-stim based on Us and E2. Embryos are transferred 2nd, 3rd, 5th or 6th day.

had ivf 2 day transfer of 3 embryos: a 2 cell, a 4 cell, and a 1 cell.  the 2 & 4 cell were the highest grade.  what is my chance of success? i'm 41.

Depends: It is difficult to grade the embryos accurately  on day 2  since it is so early and the embryos will undergo further changes before implantation.  Of the 3 embryos one of them  (4 cell) seems perfect. Statistically the chances of pregnancy at age 41 with ivf 15% - 20 % . Goody luck.

i had a cycle of ivf & 2 embryos transferred 4/13. my beta levels were: 4/24- 56, 4/26-156, 5/1-174, 5/2-204, 5/6-2. is there any chance this is viable?

No: With your bhcg level dropping, unfortunately it looks like this pregnancy is not viable.  I'm sorry.
