Tumor: I'm not familiar with the term "cancer spots".  Typically, renal or kidney cancer shows up as a mass that enhances or brightens up after giving contrast.

If the disk bulges: ...or herniations are putting pressure on the nerves as they exit the spinal cord, they could cause your symptoms. However, there are other causes as well.  Sciatica, diabetic peripheral neuropathy, spinal stenosis and meralgia paresthetica (LFCN) are some other causes.  I recommend that you follow up with your doctor if your symptoms persist or worsen. i'm 20 yrs old. i got struck in the back and then i got an mri and there are 2 white spots the size of a grape on my lower back. what does that mean?

Depends: William, no one can really answer this because we don't know if the white spots are on your back or on your MRI!  
ASK the doctor who ordered the MRI to interpret it for you, or to explain it if the spots are on your back itself.  Lots of things on MRI's are white.  Most are normal.  Good luck!

mri shows 6mm lesion on kidney and reads "may demonstrate minimal partial internal septation"? what is the significance of the word "minimal?"

Radiology hedge.: Renal cysts range from simple to complex. Simple cysts are common and are of no concern whatsoever (Grade 1). Complex cysts have solid regions which are usually an indicator of cancer (Grade 5). By using the word "minimal septation" the radiologist is giving the cyst a Grade 2, which is more likely benign than not. Chances are very good that this is nothing to worry about.

hurt rt kidney 12 years ago & today its noticeably painful after getting a mri with contrast yesterday.  is this normal & when should i be concerned?

What was the reason: for the contrast MRI? There is a correlation between gadolinium contrast and kidney problems, but it should not be painful after the MRI.  There may be another issue altogether.  You would need laboratory studies to determine if nephrotoxicity has occurred.  Please see a healthcare provider or go to ED for proper evaluation and diagnosis.

Less tha an hour: And probably more like 30 -40 minutes, maybe not even this long. I think it has to do with how new the machine is. Some very new machines have faster acquisition times. The radiologist should be able to provide a more exact answer as to the length of time for this imaging test.

Very unlikely: Contrast can damage the kidney, but that is usually an issue with a person with kidney disease. If your kidneys are healthy the contrast is not likely to harm them.

Very safe: All fda approved MRI contrast agents are very safe in people with adequate renal function. Much safer than ct contrast.  The incidence of serious allergic reactions is around 1:10, 000.  If the renal function is significantly decreased (glomerular filtration rate of less than 30 ml/min), then MRI contrast is contraindicated and should not be used.

MRI safe: MRI contrast is not a problem/risk to normally functioning kidneys ( determined by lab tests for creatinine clearance) . Of course , you don't want too much of a good thing ....so you need to consult with your doctor before any medical test is performed to understand the risks/benefits/options of any procedure.

inflammation in kidney an mri showed mild to moderate inflammation in my right kidney. i have no symptoms or discomfort. what could this be from?

Unknown: The ct changes could be from prior infection, obstruction or trauma, i would suggest a urinalysis and work-up to look for any signs of active disease and eval by your primary care physician.
