What do you mean?: Do you mean "Can I sleep less but still efficiently and effectively?"  Answer: no.  "Can I force myself to fall asleep faster?"  Answer: No, at least not safely.  Keep your sleep schedule as predictable as possible and shoot for six to nine hours of sleep nightly.

Sympathetic action: During sleep, our autonomic nervous system is functioning. When we wake, our conscious (i.e. Sympathetic) nervous system comes into action. This is usually accompanied by an output of Adrenalin from our body. This substance increases our heart rate and blood pressure. It gets us ready for a more active period...Arising.

Often normal: I've actually been told I'm like that. Cheyne-Stokesing is the norm for some guys. I'm going to trust that he doesn't have obstructive or central sleep apnea. Best wishes.

i cant sleep. i exercised for  55min on a spin bike at high speed i am very warm & alert. can exercise cause insomnia?

Exercise: too close to bed time can interfere w/some people.  Please move your exercise time to earlier in the day.  Also avoid monitor screens of any kind at least one hour prior to sleep.  Peace and good health.

May need to see dds: If does not heal by itself in a week or two, i would see a dentist to determine what is preventing the cheek from healing.

is it true that if a 500lb person exersicse or lift weights before they go to sleep would that speed weight loss during sleep?

No: Lifting weights prior to sleep is probably mildly helpful but most important is getting sleep and diet and exercise.

See holisitc doctor: There are many possible causes of chronic fatigue. It's impossible to diagnose you in this format.You need an exam & more tests. Possible causes include thyroid & other hormonal imbalances, vitamin/mineral/amino acid deficiencies, all sorts of chronic infections (viral, bacterial, fungal, parasitic), environmental or food allergies, toxins, sleep apnea, stress etc.Consider lyme disease. Chances are it's a : normal sinus arrhythmia, but his pediatrician needs to know his age, resting heart rate &amp; other symptoms to perform a physical exam &amp; determine if a pediatric cardiology consult is needed + 24-hour monitoring of his heart rate &amp; rhythm. is 2 mgs lorazapam an okay dose for stress at work, not sleeping well and overwelmed with workload and need for speed and accuracy.

Not a great idea: Speed and accuracy can only be damaged by lorazepam. It is too addictive to consider long term use, you might become tolerant and present rebound anxiety if doses are skipped, in a short time. Much better options available, the answer is not a benzodiazepine like ativan. Ask your dr. Best of luck.
