what is soya milk good for and what is it bad for?

It is a food.: and it is not especially good or bad BUT
a lot of people cannot drink cow's milk due to problems with the sugar (lactose intolerant) or the protein. Soya is totally unrelated to cow's milk and can be used instead.

It's lousy for alfredo sauce. I'd need to see for butter chicken though.

2 cups/day maximum: is ok if calcium-fortified +you give other sources of calcium.See http://www.health.harvard.edu/newsletters/Harvard_Health_Letter/2009/May/By-the-way-doctor-Children-and-soy-milk &amp; http://www.whattoexpect.com/toddler-nutrition/soy-milk-for-children.aspx. Limit whole cow's milk + milk products to 16-21 oz./day; 100% juice, 0-4 oz./day, all with sit-down meals. Brush teeth after meals &amp; before bed.

It Depends: As with all things in life; it depends. Fructose with fiber is good and you also need protein to modulate your blood sugar spike which is bound to happen with a fruit only breakfast. I recommend doing a "smoothie" with a high grade medical food (pea and/or rice protein) along with your fruit. You will be satisfied and keep your blood glucose stable. To your best health!

No concern: Great question. A recent german observational study found the following in post menopausal women: ". High and low consumption of soybeans as well as of sunflower and pumpkin seeds were associated with significantly reduced breast cancer risk compared to no consumption (or = 0.83, 95% ci = 0.70-0.97; and or = 0.66, 95% ci = 0.77-0.97, respectively)."

therefore, enjoy your soy milk.

Not really: Other than the bad taste, soy milk usually has multiple nutritional supplements you need for  general health.

Adjuncts only: Marrow cancer (leukemia, myeloma) is a cruel enough situation without people selling you worthless dietary supplements and "pop" foods.  I wish you the best as you undergo treatment for your illness. Your best diet is to eat sensibly, what you like, trying to avoid the very sugary / greasy / salty stuff, and to maintain physical exercise.

Fever?: Watch for signs of fever, wheezing and distress.
A typical viral illness will last 10 to 14 days.

Hypoallergenic : If a true milk allergy,breast milk or hypoallergenic formula is best.There is often cross reactivity between soy and cow’s milk allergies.For taste purposes,try mixing the formula that he likes with the new hypoallergenic formula at a proportion of 3/4 of old and 1/4 of new and increase proportion of new gradually.He’ll be more likely to adjust that way.If he really won’t drink,call his doctor.

can i give my infant baby s-26 milk , he had g6pd and rhis milk contain soya bean oil?

I do not recommend: G6pd exists in different forms with different severity. Mild forms of the condition might tolerate soya bean oil where severe forms of the disease probably would not tolerate it. Given alternative formulas that would not have potential for hemolysis, i would recommend not using  s-26 for your infant.
