i have sores on my buttocks that look like small ulcers.  they itch like crazy and they will not heal up. can you please tell me what this is?

Folliculitis: You should consult a physician to get treated . My guess is folliculitis which may be due to staph infection and it requires prescrption antibiotics.

i have persistent sores on my buttocks and thighs. this has gone on for more than two years and is spreading to more parts of my body and worsening.

Hidradenitis: You may have boils (furunculosis) or hidradenitis suppurativa.  Mrsa, a bacteria is also a possibility.  You need to see a dermatologist for accurate diagnosis and to start treatment.  I usually use a cleanser such as Phisohex daily, a topical antibiotic twice a day and an oral antibiotic.

i have a wound on my buttocks about 5-6cm deep it started off around 8cm it has been 5 months since my injury why is it taking so long for it to heal.

Wound healing: can be variable from one person to the next. Your wound sounds like it was very large. You need active physician wound care help. Sometimes surgical intervention is needed. Wounds heal based on location, size of wound, overall health (no diabetes, no cigarette smoking, etc), cause of wound (burn, vascular, trauma), wound cleanliness, etc. Needs doctor's active care.

i have broken out in boils on my buttocks. as one heals another develops. they are large, hot and painful. my son also gets lots. could it be serious?

Hidradenitis: I would speak to your doctor about your general health.  Are you diabetic?  Are you overweight?  People with hidradenitis supurativa get "pimples" in their groin and buttock and it is not related to weight or diabetes.  I find topical antibiotics and/or fruit acid treatments help. I would see your family doctor or a dermatologist.

Scabs on buttock: Many possibilities.  You need a diagnosis as to why you are having the scabs.  Is it infections, bug bites, rash or what.  See your doctor to get diagnosed and treated.

Stay active!: The best thing for back pain is to remain active and do not stay in bed too long!  if any bowel or bladder symptoms, seek help immediately.  Physical therapy helps many with back pain!

i have many scabs appearing on my thighs and buttocks. i don't think they were ever blisters but they hurt very bad and don't heal well. what are they?

Unclear: This may well be an infection that is spread by scratching.  This could be made worse as you scratch you can abrade the skin and then these are getting infected.  You need to seek medical care and find out if this is infected and now have a cellulitis.  If infected you will need effective antibiotics to treat this and prevent further infection. Cleansing these areas with antibacterial soap helps
