Viral Pharyngitis?: Most of these sore throats are caused by viruses and are self limited.If it is very uncomfortable you can take Tylenol (acetaminophen) or Ibuprofen for pain.But if associated with fever and difficulty swallowing then it needs to be checked by your doctor to rule out strep infection

See a physician: This could represent swollen lymph nodes, or benign lipomas, or could even be just your body morphology (just the way you were born).  See a physician to get it looked at for a proper evaluation and diagnosis.

Blocked gland?: A sebaceous cyst is a collection of oily fluid that occurs when an oil gland is blocked.  Some folks are more prone to them than other and they often appear on the neck, shoulders, and back.  Try to avoid skin products that are oily. Stay away from transfats and bad oils, which is good for overall health.  See doc for proper diagnosis because it could be more serious.

Sounds more like --: Laryngitis and trachiitis, which are inflammation of the larynx (voice box) and its downward extension, trachea (wind pipe).
These can result from too much singing, shouting, viral or other infections, etc, etc.
Resting, ibuprofen, would certainly help.

on and off sore throat near collarbone on left side, sometimes dull tooth ache, unsure if related. feels like mucus there. could it be thyroid?
