If you have strep throat, antibiotic therapy is imperative to prevent future complications. Consider tylenol (acetaminophen) or nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medications. Saltwater gargles: mix 1 tsp salt in 8 oz warm water – gargle several times a day. Or gargle with aloe vera juice twice a day.

influenza b 3 weeks ago. major symptoms are gone but turned into laryngitis for 2 of those wks. sore throat better, but no voice?! is this normal w/flu?

Warm fluids : Monitor for fever, drink warm fluids and please see your physician if the symptoms persist. Watch for fever,shortness of breath.

Covid 19: Cough, sore throat and muscle pain are all symptoms of covid-19. You can get tested, but it will not change the management. Self Isolate, take Acetaminophen for pain, and cough suppressant for cough. Drink lots of fluids and rest.

Inflammation: you probably have a viral if not a bacterial infection.  Ibuprofen may help with the inflammation and pain.  Some people like tea with honey or lemon.  Cough drops can help.  With a virus it takes 2-3 days to clear.  bacterial can take longer and you may need antibiotics.  If not getting better in 3 days see an MD

i had fever 38.5c i have sore throat and my head ache.  i am taking .375g amoxicilin and my headache has got better and my sore throat is better. but i have sharp pain from time to time?

Sore throat: Did your doctor evaluate you and prescribe the Amoxicillin with funny dosage? Was a strep test done? If the fever and headache are both gone, the fever might have been the cause of the headache. Perhaps strep caused the sore throat since it has gotten better. The intermittent sharp pain (on swallowing?) can be present within 2-3 days after the start of antibiotics.

had only a low grade fever, mild sore throat for the first 2 days of cold. no voice used. then yesterday i talked for 2 hrs and boom!, hit with a debilitating sore throat (getting better), and today a 38.7 fever. is this because of using my voice?

Usually not that: Sore throat can be strep throat (antibiotics are needed), a cold or influenza (Tamiflu antiviral may be used), or less likely from some other cause such as allergies or irritants. Usually, a person sees the doctor if symptoms are bothersome, recurrent, or don't go away quickly (to see if antibiotics are needed). The doctor can examine, and maybe do a strep swab.

went to doc 6 days ago for sore throat it better but got dry cough .ears feel like fluid sometimes hard to pop .taking clarithromycin and medrol pack ?

Cough: Try delete for the cough.  Try Flonase for the nasal congestion.  May use afrjn for 3 days only for the stuffiness.  Try to pop the ears.  
May want to try to gargle warm salt water.  2 to 3 tsp to one quart of water.
Finish the antibiotics.
See your doctor if not better in 6 to 10 days
