what to do if i dipped once 3 days ago and my gums arent sore or red anymore but i have a sore where i put the dip. is that normal to get them when you dip?

Chemical burn: It is normal to get a chemical burn when caustic agents are applied to soft tissues. The tissue has been damaged.. It can take time to heal. The redness, soreness, and chemical burn should be a warning of what lies ahead if you continue. Dipping tobacco is quite carcinogenic.

Be patient: After removing some hyper plastic tissue with a laser post operative discomfort should be expected for a few days. Keep the area clean and rinse with warm salt water whenever possible. You'll be fine.

i have a bump underneath on my gum. its sore when i put my tongue to is could it be an ulcer or absess?

Yes: Could be.... Have it looked at.  At any rate it shouldn't be there longer than 7-10 days if it is an ulcer.  Abscess will not go away without treatment.

Normal occurrence : Having a mouth sore in this area is probably a apthous ulcer or canker sore. The white patch in mouth is tissue surface layer sloughing off, think of scab on skin. The medication can turn color and collect with this patch to ball up. Spot will heal in week time.

Unfortunately: I have no idea.  A dentist would have to see the area to know what's causing the sore/pain (infection or canker sore?) and I have never heard any patient mention that the Orajel "balled up". Sorry.

i have a mouth sore an it's at the lining of my gums and under my tounge, the gums where my teeth r swollen , and when i put my tounge  on it it makes my teeth right above the sore numb what do i do and who do i talk to?

How long?: Mouth sores can occur for a variety of reasons. You may have a gum infection, tooth infection or you may have simply traumatized the tissue. If the sore has been there longer than 2 weeks and is not healing on its own, you should have it looked at by a dentist. The dentist may order an x-ray to help with the diagnosis. Healthy gums are not swollen and do not cause the surrounding teeth to be numb.

had a root canal two years ago, now gum above tooth and under nostril is tender,  had veneers put on.  ?

Sound like: The root canal may need to be retreated or that you have another tooth acting up. I would see an endodontist or my dentist for an evaluation.

Infection: It is not easy to say exactly without examining your gums and measuring the pockets around your teeth. It sounds that you may be suffering from a severe case of  periodontal disease ( gum &amp; bone )due to heavy deposits under the gums or you may be having some kind of a different infection. This can not be diagnosed or treated over the Internet. You must see a dentist of a gum specialist.
