Bump on hip: This could be a lipoma. Is it soft and nontender? Most likely nothing to worry about if it is just under the skin, and not painful. A simple exam by an MD can help determine this!

i am 23 years old and i noticed a small movable lump under the skin right next to my right hip bone. it doesn't hurt but should i be worried?

Hard to say: If you have a soft tissue lesion anywhere that you have noticed, it bears observation. Lesions that are increasing in size, especially rapidly, or those associated with increasing pain, are concerns for malignancy. A painless mass which is constant in size, unchanging in appearance, and unchanged over time is likely benign. Lipomas are the most common soft tissue benign lesions; common and benign.

ive had this lump on my right hip and my right leg is swollen. sometimes my leg is numb and sometimes i feel pins and needles. the lump doesnt hurt but i have bone pain in my leg usually at night. what could cause this ?

Needs some eval: It may just be a soft tissue ache or even a little kink in your intestine that is uncomfortable when you may be a little constipated/stool slows down. But you should talk with you doctor about it. A urine test(s) might be in order, and perhaps some imaging such as an ultrasound or CT scan.  Good wishes:)

Muscles? Nerves?: This might not be your hip bone or joint. It could be various muscles and/or nerves. A physical therapist, massage therapist, chiropractor, doctor may help Dx and offer treatment. Look up psoas and pirformis online to see if it rings a bell.There are more!

It is usually associated with nausea and not wanting to eat, and less common fevers. But appendicitis also can act very differently from one person to the next.
