Salivary gland: Sounds like an inflamed salivary gland duct.  If it does not resolve within 10 days get it looked at.  You can apply Zilactin or Orabase to make it less sensitive before eating.

Salivary glands: You probably bumped or scraped one of them and it became inflamed and swollen. It should go away on its own. Do not go poking at it. Can happen when eating things like chips , crusty bread, and crackers. Good Luck.
