Stye: Gentamycin would not be my choice for a stye.  Good lid hygiene and warm compresses would be a good start.  See your ophthalmologist for further evaluation.

Not really: Pataday is for allergy.  Stye is inflammation of oil gland that is occluded from dust and debris.  Antibiotic combined with steroid will help.  The most useful help is heat pack over the lids and baby shampoo wash the eye lashes.

It won't help.: Thoth paste usually has a whitener in it, this is not a good thing to put in or around the eyes.

Warm hot compresses : 100+ times per day when stye firsts starts.

Warm compresses: Apply them for 20 minutes several times a day. Intermittent is more effective than continuous. In addition, I recommend applying an ophthalmic antibacterial ointment 4 times daily.

No: Too close to the eye to use effectively. Better option are frequent warm compresses ; eyelid scrubs with dilute baby shampoo. Also topical antibiotic ointment.

Very warm compresses: The best treatment for styes is very warm (not hot) compresses applied at least 4-5 times per day for 4-5 minutes each time.  Maxitrol and other antibiotics will make no difference as they cannot penetrate the lesion.  Compresses are very effective; usually work.

Warm compress too: A sty is an inflamed "sweat duct" in the eyelid.  The ducts get blocked.   I  tell my patients to get a damp wash cloth and pop it in the microwave for 30 seconds.   Place warm compress the closed eyelid for about5-10 minutes re-heating as necessary-at least 4x a day.   Adding  xepanicol, Chloramphenicol eye drops will help kill associated bacterial infection of the style.

Usually: Once the surgical wound from the stye removal has healed, it is usually safe to resume make up. To be sure, one can consult the surgeon.  The tiny bump of residual scar tissue may decrease in part or completely over time.

Yes but  .   .  ..: Neosporin and a variety of other topical antibiotics can be used but none of these will have any effectiveness as the antibiotic will not penetrate.  Instead used very warm packs 5 times per day for 5 minutes each application.
