every time i perform a dance for a crowd my tongue goes numb and i was wondering why.

Stage anxiety?: Anxiety can cause many physical symptoms including dry mouth, rapid heart rate, rapid breathing, pins and needles and/or numbing sensation in face, mouth and extremities, nausea, diarrhea, heart pounding, tremulousness, etc. I don't know specifically why you have the experience you do, but stage anxiety might be a possibility.

random tingling in tongue? kinda like its numb.. it happens every now and then and usually its in the back of the tongue or the left side.. it happens for a few seconds and goes away. one time it last like 30-45 minutes what could this be?

Tumbness: The tongue is supplied by the 5th and 12th cranial nerves.  The nerves come from the ear or atleast travel close to it. The area has muscles, stylohyoid, and structure like the parotid gland. Some type of process pressing on nerve could be a facor. Some type of ischemic issue such as  TIA possible, but your are young for that.

will  the nerves in my tongue heal after having surgery on it. it is numb and tingles all the time?

Most likely: But it could take as long as 6 months to a year. Be patient, it should resolve.

i had a tube put in my right ear about 2 months ago. i told the doctor at the time that my tongue went numb on that side. it's still numb. why?

Re-contact that Dr: I expect you're not happy w/ that Dr, but they need to know and they should want to evaluate and correct (if possible) any problem the procedure caused. It sounds like nerve(s) in that area were interfered with - hopefully an adjustment will allow recovery. But you have to let them know. If you go to a new Dr, they'll be likely to want to confer and that's okay too. Don't wait to do something.

my 13yr old girl suddenly got a numb feeling on her left arm/hand then moved to the left side of her face, then her tongue. this is the 2nd time,4 days ago it happened to the right hnd side and went away just as quickly but brought on a huge headache?

Complex migraine: I would seek out a neurologist with experience dealing with migraine headaches. This pattern suggests complex migraines. There are treatments available but she should have a good evaluation before treatment.

hello. :) my lips have been tingling, feeling hot, numb, and kind of hurting lately. sometimes my nose, cheeks, hands, gums and tongue too. it sometimes happens right after eating but mostly not i think. this happens maybe 2-3 times a day?

: Avoid possible allergic triggers such as a certain food which is associated. Discuss allergy testing and please let your PCP know. Watch for swelling, rash, wheezing and other signs of an allergic reaction.

i've been covid positive for almost over a week now. my sense of taste and smell is diminshed a bit. however, my tongue feels numb, lump in throat, mouth feels weird. are these also symtpms of covid. ive been to er few times already due to symptoms?

: Unless proven otherwise I'd regard these tongue and mouth symptoms as part of the covid infection. The medical literature does describe tongue numbness and refers to it as covid tongue. At this stage I don't think paxlovid or remdesivir treatment would be helpful. You could get your physician's opinion.about this.

bell's palsey and tongue numbness on same side. when will it go away?

Depends: Most patients with Bell's Palsy have complete recovery, however this is affected by a number of things, such as: 1) younger age 2) milder symptoms at onset 3) early resolution of symptoms (&lt;2 weeks) 4) early treatment with steroid with or without antivirals. Most start to have improvement within 3 weeks, however symptoms may remain up to 1 yr before improving. Few have lifelong symptoms.

Numb tongue: Numbness or tingling is related to nerve involvment. A thorough exam and nerve exam will be needed to determine the cause. See your dentist or oral surgeon for evaluation.
