It can be made at the pharmacy and contains a (1:1:1) ratio of viscous lidocaine, benadryl, (diphenhydramine) and maalox liquids. Also this is an indication that the denture may need an adjustment. See your dentist as soon as you can.

It will depend on your pain, medications taking, and the type of work your have to do.  You should discuss the thoroughly with your dentist or oral surgeon prior to your procedure.  "don't bite off more than your can chew".
