: It will take some time for your system to recover. The length of time would depend on how long you smoked, give about one year for each week of smoking to return to baseline.
You can reduce your risk of cancer by adopting healthy habits: Eat a mostly vegetarian diet, avoid alcohol, tobacco and street drugs, avoid excessive exposure to sun, maintain healthy weight, exercise 30 minutes/day.

It will reverse: The damage from use of tobacco will gradually reverse and your risk would be normal in about ten years. Do not use tobacco or tobacco products in any form. Refrain from using alcohol. Keep your weight under control, eat a balanced diet and exercise regularly, about 150 minutes/week.

Hello, : Hello, first off i need to state that i can't diagnosis the cause of your recent weight gain. In order to address this adequately, you would need to be medically assessed to include laboratory evaluation.   Since that is not possible, i will raise a concern about your calorie intake. If you caloric intake is too low, you body will go into starvation mode. This is more likely, if you are not eating at least three times a day. As a survival function, you body will metabolize calories much more slowly. Thus, even though your are eating much less and working out, you might actually gain weight.  You might need to increase your calories slightly  and if you have severely restricted carbohydrates, you may need to add more back in. Ensure that you are getting at least 8 - 8 ounce glasses of water per day and plenty of fiber through vegetables and fruit. Good luck. Congratulations on quitting smoking.

If you : are very sensitive to the hormones in the ring, yes this could be a cause,  medication to help depression may help until you adjust to the hormones. Other forms of hormonal birth control my cause the same or worse symptoms in some cases. Let your doctor know.

Get checked: The most common reasons for a bitter taste include periodontal disease, tonsil associated infection, heavy  metal toxicity, and GI issues. So get checked.

25 yr old male, 9 year smoking history, quit 2 mnths ago.  gums bleed spontaneously, if it were lung cancer causing this, wouldn't i have more symptom?

No: It is not Lung cancer. It may be Vit C related/Gingivitis or other bleeding disorder.
