Accepted Answer

No. Discard it!: Not only is it defective, but also it will not perform as intended--correcting your refractive error. The biggie here is that the small tear will cause ocular surface irritation, eventually to the point when your cornea may develope an abrasion, inflammation, and likely infection or ulceration. So, discard it right away and use a new one, if you have disposable soft contact lenses, or wear glasses.

Placing Contact lens: The problem would be getting the contact lenses on the eye. It can be a challenge with narrow eyes or small eye lids. The smaller the contact lens may make this easier. Soft contacts all have a big diameter, rigid gas perm contacts are smaller and may be easier to put in. Check with the doctor that prescribes contacts for you.

This is a question: To ask your eye doctor who prescribed yoru contacts.  

Eventually you get used to putting them in.. And supressing blinking etc.

There might be eye drops that can help.

Maybe not used to it: If you are not used to contact lenses it might be hard to wear them at first, but it should get easier with time.  Glasses are also good, but they can also take time to get used to.  It is good to be able to use both.  If the problems persist, see your eye doctor.

No: Although contact lenses can aid in correcting unequal vision in the two eyes, contact lenses do not change the actual size of the eyes..

i lost soft contact lens in my eyes, fornix , they have folded and ruptured, and small particles of this lens were falling in my eye, im seeing floaters.

Not possible: The floaters are almost assuredly not pieces of your contact lens.  The eyeball is surrounded by the white sclera, a very tough tissue so there is no way a contact lens under your eyelid could work it's way into your eye. There would have to be some type of major trauma that caused a laceration first. So, don't worry. You should see an eye doctor though to find out what is causing the floaters.

had cryopexy retina repair surgery thursday and a recheck today. was needing a -.75 contact lens in that eye before the tear and surgery and now reading 20/20 with no correction at all. how did that happen? shortening the axis or maybe temp swelling?

: It could be temporary from corneal change.  Your retina surgeon will tell you when your regular ophthalmologist should recheck your eyesight as part of a postop checkup.  He/she will let you know,  only after full healing, whether you're back to nearsightedness.

Pepper Spray: Sterile saline or water is the best thing to flush eye with after pepper spray. Take out contact lenses immediately if you have been  sprayed.

Accepted Answer

See below: This is a discussion that you need to have with your opthamologist and/or optometrist. The eyeball in a small child has not finished growing so contacts, if they used them, would not work for long. Also a small child does not have the cognitive ability to look after contacts.
