See a doctor: The rash could be from any number of things i would stop trying to treat yourself and see a doctor especially a dermatologist. It could be a " folliculitis which is treatable.

Hard to say: It may have started as a bug bite &amp; you are now caught up in the itch/scratch cycle. The area should be examined for a treatable cause. This is not something easily pinned down by location/vague description.

Rash: it  is more likely to be heat rash, it is hard to tell without seeing &amp; feeling it, keep the bay cool in light loose cotton clothes, but if persisted or got worse, see your pediatrician. good luck. enjoy your bundle of joy.

Scalp: Could be a form of acne or folliculitis. You could try a zinc shampoo, tar shampoo or Nizoral (ketoconazole) shampoo.

Itchy scalp...: it sounds like scalp dermatitis......see your  doctor and perhaps a foam steroid like luqix  should be prescribed for you
