what is fatty tissue supposed to feel like? i can feel lots of small "fat" lumps underneath my skin in particularly fatty areas when i press down.

Lipoma: These subcutaneous lumps may be lipomata which are benign growths of fatty tissue. To be sure,however, a physician would have to examine you.

It is: likely an early apocrine gland cystic infection.  Use warm compresses three times daily for 2-3 days.  If no improvement or worsening see your doctor or a quality urgent care center for evaluation.  If drainage can be effected with compresses itis likely no antibiotics are needed.  Drainage is paramount.  Antibiotics only contain and usually don't cure an abscess if it has progressed to that.

i hav lots of painful small lumps in the area around the bottom of my ribs my dr says they are nothin to worry about but they are getting more painful?

Ask more questions: Progressively painful bumps on ribs are not normal. Ask your doctor what the diagnosis is. If he/she doesn't know or can't really say, or if it doesn't sound right to you, get a 2nd opinion.

Many things: They could be lymph nodes, cysts, ingrown hairs... Best thing to do is get them checked out by your doctor.  It doesn't sound like an urgent thing (especially if they've been there for a while), but in the next 1-2 weeks you should get them checked to put your mind at ease.

i have 2 small lumps on my scrotum or in between thigh and scrotum area (not sure what that area is). they appeared after my underwear was tightly tucked there for like 2 hours so im assuming thats related. is this serious? could it be cancer?

Sebaceous cyst : It can be sebaceous cyst ,Avoid Wearing tight underwear and use some sitz bath and warm compressors

Lumps under skin: Usually shingles doesn't present as hard lumps under the skin.  The characteristic rash is vesicular and not nodular, but it's hard to say for sure without a picture and exam.  It'd be useful to get them checked to make sure this is really a shingles outbreak and not something else.

Sebaceous cyst: you most likely have a sebaceous cyst. Can be easily removed in office. If not bothering you. Can wait.

Very likely not: Benign soft tissue, including fatty, lumps or tumors are thought to occur 10 times more frequently than cancerous growths. If a lump is greater than 2 inches in size, it has a greater risk of being cancerous. Being tender or painful is actually more often associated with being benign (possibly an infectious abscess); benign lumps tend to grow more slowly. Watch for changes and seek eval if changes

FOAMY URINE HAS NO: Foamy urine has no meaning. So do not worry about that. Lumps may need a doctor to check them if they are getting bigger in size.

Mgt: These findings should be further evaluated. These may be reactive lymph nodes which swell in response to inflammation or infection. Your PCP can further evaluate also with a CBC, diff, plts A chest radiograph may also be ordered.
