Hematoma: it sound like  hematoma  which is collection of blood that could happen by sticking you leg ,or rupture vein

Get examined: You may have an inflammatory collagen disorder(like erythema nodosum) and i recommend an exam preferably by a rheumatologist or dermatologist as you appear to be quite uncomfortable in view of the nodules, leg swelling and pain on walking.

Many causes: Lump after injury can be hematoma  which generally resolves or it can be subperiosteal hematoma generally over the shin which can calcify and become hard  One can have damage of the Fascia of the muscle and muscle herniation which will be a soft lump most likely that muscle herniation is the reason for the lump below the previous one Get it checked by your doctor to be sure Good luck

Not necessarily: It's difficult to say based on the info you provided.  As is the lump in the deep muscle, superficial skin or bone.  If it's in the bone, it could be related to a bone callus.  If its the deeper muscle, it could be myositis ossificans, which is a calcium deposit in the muscle after truama.  Skin wise, that could be a hypertrophic amongst other things.  Usually are only problems if create pain.

Scar tissue: Most likely the hard lump is scar tissue.  As the wound heals, scar tissue forms and it is more dense and feels harder than normal skin.  It would be unlikely this far out to have a wound infection, but If there is increased redness, swelling, pain or red streaks, I suggest being seen.  I hope this helps.

Lumps and Bumps: Hi, sorry you are not feeling 100%. Bumps or lumps on people always cause alarm, but seldom are harmful. It is impossible to guess what it may be, i tell my patients to always have things like that examined, and if necessary sampled or biopsied.  Many times it is fat cells, (lipoma) which is a benign, soft , lump under the skin. See your doctor soon for exam. Take care, and good luck!

Could be: It could be a cyst of some type. You should have it checked by your doctor. You may need a biopsy.

Cyst likely: Apply warm compresses whenever you think of it and it may drain spontaneously.  Otherwise, go to a clinic if it gets larger or more painful.

Probably not serious: It is most likely either a ganglion cyst
or a lipoma
if it grows, or becomes symptomatic you
should be seen.
If it is a ganglion, it can be aspirated to 
both confirm  the diagnosis and remove it.
