i currently have a small, hard, bump on the back, left side of my head. it may be at the top of my neck. occipital lumps seem similar. i recently got hit with a golf ball (slowish speed) on the other side of my head behind temple. is this correlated?

Arm pain: The arm pain most likely is unrelated to the lump which could be a cyst, ingrown hair or inflamed lymph gland due to some scalp irritation or inflammation. The arm symptom suggests a nerve impingement from a spur or disc in the region of a neck vertebra. A physician or a neurologist would be able to advise her after an examination.

Sounds: like a  calcified cyst ( I would guess an old sebaceous cyst .

Get it checked out ("hands on" ) at your next visit to your PCP...

Blocked gland?: A sebaceous cyst is a collection of oily fluid that occurs when an oil gland is blocked.  Some folks are more prone to them than other and they often appear on the neck, shoulders, and back.  Try to avoid skin products that are oily.  I would also stay away from transfats and bad oils, which is good for overall health. Please see doctor to rule out other things. Peace &amp; good health.

Abdominal mass: How are we to guess as to the result of your Ultrasound. Isn't the doctor who ordered your ultrasound the better source of information? Please speak to your doctor or at least obtain the Ultrasound reading.

Get evaluated: A painful lesion can be several things but to know for sure, your doctor should see if you need s culture. Some of these lesions can be contagious so avoid intercourse until you are examined.
