Proctits: Sounds like an infection of your anus or rectal area.Given the white discharge i would the strongly consider a fungal infection.I would seek evaluation for this problem.

Colitis: Mucus from the anus indicates for colon (large bowel) is inflamed. You need to see a doctor to determine why its inflamed and what needs to be done about it.  There is no “just anal discharge” but it could be a short term temporary condition (infection) or a long term, more serious inflammatory bowel disease.

It may also be due to excessive ingestion of nonabsorbable oils such as mineral oil. This may also be associated with poor absorption of fat soluble vitamins and should be evaluated by a physician.

At the very least, discuss your new finding with your doctor who knows you best & can advise what treatment &/or testing is needed.

See below: A very small area left to heal is not abnormal. Should be all the way closed soon. The discharge is probably fibrinous exudate, frequently present until a wound totally heals. If not completely healed in two more weeks check with your surgeon.
