AT your age: it most likely is muscle or cartilage. The cartilages which connect your ribs to your chest "plate"(sternum) (Called TseTse' syndrome) is a possible diagnosis' Try taking an anti-inflammatory (eg IBUPROFEN ) and applying heat to the sternal area.

Several things: These are symptoms that require a thorough evaluation by your doctor.  Only after obtaining this informstion, can he/she adequately diagnose and treat you.

right side of face has slight decrease in sensation and feels like i can't feel right side of throat when swallowing but i can still move everything ok?

Hi, again!: Thanks for more details.  Probably best to see your doctor who will probably order an MRI of the brain (brain MRI if whole side of face is affected; neck MRI if area by jaw or ear is affected).  Probably not neuromuscular...Could be a pinched nerve or inflammation of some nerve , less likely could be ms or a tumor, but you'd probably have more symptoms.  Not to worry, just get it checked.

i have a sensation to cough but dont cough because sensation is not strong enough also throat is scratchy and i have pain when i swallow it doesnt happen often and the pain is very very mild but still concerened any reason for this?

i'm a 27yr old male, 5'5", 140lbs, and have had a slight burning sensation in between my shoulder blades on the right side of the spine right after i swallow, and i feel it right before burping. i'm on 10mg of celexa and taking zantac (ranitidine).

Need GI evaluation: As symptoms are connected with the swallowing and burping, you need to have the esophagus stomach looked at to rule out infection, inflammation, erosion or ulceration. So that it could be treated appropriately

Yes: sore throat may occur after re fluxing gastric contents. See your gi doctor for treatment.

Depends: It can be signs and symptoms of an upper respiratory infection. When the throat is inflamed or fighting an infection, they can become swollen. You can experience pain when swallowing. Check if there are other symptoms associated like fever, malaise, ear discharge. 
I suggest supportive care like rest, chicken soup and NSAIDs. If sx worsen go to your Doctor. Good luck

Need to see ur doctor: As it may very well be bacterial pharyngitis and might need antibiotics, meanwhile rest, fluids, salt water gargles and pain killers, unless contraindicated, good luck

Doctor can evaluate: A person whose neck skin was previously fine, and now has a burning pain sensation, may have shingles . . . Which means he needs to get treatment started right away, to try to prevent chronic bad pains afterward. Other skin problems, and problems related to changes to nerves going to the skin, can cause similar symptoms. Of course, he could also just have a sunburn on the back of his neck.

is swallowing hair harmful? what if you have that sensation?

Can be: If you have a compulsion to eat your hair you may have trichophagia which is essentially a compulsive behavioral disorder.  If consumed alot you could develop a bezoar which is essentially a ball of hair that can obstruct your intestines or stomach.  You may want to talk to your family doctor if this is the case.
