i'm on accutane and i have done the worst thing. i've tried to pop an under-the-skin cyst, but failed. now a huge bit of skin has come off. what shall i do?

You'll be okay: Keep it clean. Please phone your prescriber at your earliest convenience and he/she will decide whether you need to be seen. If you're not seen, but in a few days it is not healing, call again. I'll be you will recover from this. Isotretinoin is not for the faint-hearted and you should be commended on staying the course.

All normal growths: Skin cysts, cherry angioma and dermatofibroma are all benign (non-cancerous) skin growths.  Cysts are saclike structure in the skin, which usually contains fluid or keratin material.  Cherry angiomas are red blood vessels growths that we can get as we age.  Dermatofibroma are brown firm scar tissue-like growths.  If you are unsure about a skin spot, you should see a dermatologist.

Maybe: More likely this is a sebaceous cyst.  These are not infected but can be removed if unsightly.  Get checked out to be sure.

i have a skin cyst on my wrist for over 6 years is been painless but lately i can't bend my hand up because is painful. should i be concern?

Possibly yes: Yes if it is impairing mobility i would speak with a physician in regards to possible imaging studies or other tests or a basic exam to ensure that it is not impinging on a nerve or some other item.

CYSTS: Skin cysts are benign growths and unless these are disfiguring and too large, can be left alone.Warm compresses do not help unless it gets infected.
The only way you can get rid of these is by surgical excision.

Cysts/Penile Shaft: If the patient remains asymptomatic, and generally, it does not get in the way with either urinary or sexual function no treatment is necessary. The only time that you need to get rid of sebaceous cyst on shaft is when there is complication caused by trauma or infection and this would require surgery.

See below: May be pilonidal cyst. Continue heat & nsaid. See fp or general surgeon asap for either incision & drainage or surgical removal of cyst. May have developed cellulitis, which will require antibiotics.

i saw my internist for skin cysts that turn into boils, burst, shrink, and then reform again. they often form open tracks. she called them furnaces. they are on my breasts, jaw line, groin, and upper thighs. can these be caused by cellcept?

It may..: Cellcept is in general Immunosuppressant. For reason to prevent rejection of transplants etc.. Any decreases of immunity can make you prone to infections. Skin infections as boils is one of them. Make sure pus was cultured for appropriate treatment  choice of Antibiotics if needed.Drainage of pus and meticulous hygiene to prevent spread is important. Please, follow up w your doc. for exam and test

Skin lesion: It is important to see it to recommend the course of action. It may be an infection that can need treatment or sometimes just a cyst that can be formed by secretions of glands of the skin. Small keloids can also look similar to your description.
