i am having tingling/some numbness in half of my tongue (the left) along with some ear and jaw pain. have chronic sinusitis. what can this be?

Numbness: Tongue numbness, ear ; jaw pain, and sinusitis---all may be related, or may be coincidental. One-sided numbness should be examined carefully. First, see a medical doctor to rule out any conditions that require medical attention. If you are fine, but still with above symptoms, consult with oral surgeons and/or dentist with tmd training. Bad bite, hormonal changes, neuralgia, etc., maybe related.

Not usually: Sinusitis generally causes pain or pressure in the area corresponding to the sinus that is affected.  I there is numbness on the left side of your face, you should see a doctor.   If you also have accompanied paralysis of facial muscles, you should see a doctor ASAP to be on the safe side.

took 2 doses cednifir for sinusitis.  have tingling/ prickling/crawling sensations on top of my head.  is this normal?does it mean it's working or not

No: Regardless of the mechanism for your symptoms, you should stop it and ask your doctor to provide a substitute since there are several even better options for treating sinusitis.

Yes, so: You should see a doctor for treatment with decongestant and possibly even antibiotics.  Other causes might be occult injury or even tumor, so get medical attention asap.

Both: You include no history or apparently take no meds but this group of complaints could be either. It is not possible to say based on what you have said. but the burning in the head is most likely viral. Anxiety can cause this also especially if you are a very jumpy person. See you doctor if persists.

Explanation: First of all, an MRI is not the best diagnostic test for sinusitis.  A CAT scan is.  Secondly, you do not tell us anything about your symptoms.  You state "would that cause all these symptoms".  Tell us what your symptoms are and then we can give you more advice.

in follow up to my question about vertigo, i only get it when i change position of my head, i've had sinusitis since 2nd grade, could this have affect?

Yep: Try Flonase at night, a nasal steroid, that way post nasal drip is an anti-inflammatory, allowing eustachian tubes in the that drain into the throat to stay open, no fluid buildup in the ear, less vertigo.

i have sinusitis for a week. ive been getting right sided headaches on the back of my head and also a stabbing sensation off and on. should i be worried about it?

: Hi,  I wouldn't " be "worried", but you should see a Dr. as soon as you can.Your headaches &amp; "stabbing sensation" are not typical of sinusitis. If you saw a doctor who diagnosed sinusitis, did they put you on antibiotics? If so I would call them today  to describe these other symptoms.  If you haven't seen a Dr. yet, I would call your primary doctor today, or go to a walk-in clinic to be checked.

Less likely: Head twitching in my experience is related to nerve, stress, anxiety, electrolyte issues and less likely due to sinus infections.
