Metoprolol and ivabradine a new drug which effects the sinus node exert similar effects on resting heart rate but ivabradine is more effective in relieving symptoms during exercise or daily activity.

Pressure changes : In sinus cause headaches, pretty severe at times. They can be worse if you go scuba diving, or take a plane ride as that changes the pressure in the closed, now blocked sinuses. Lesson take decongestant before diving or flying.

Sinus tachycardia: means your normal heart beat is faster than 100 BPM. This can be normal as the range of normal is 40 to 120. It is unlikely to be caused by mobic however pain can cause the heart rate to increase so the reason you are taking mobic might be the reason you are tachycardic. Treatment is to address the cause not the rate. Fever, dehydration, anxiety, anemia, pain can all cause this.

It depends.: Thickening of the mucosa of the sinuses is an extremely common finding. Generally if it measures less than 4 mm it does not correlate with symptoms of illness. The rule is, one treats the symptoms, not the ct scan. If you have symptoms, the treatment for sinusitis goes all the way from nothing (it is usually viral and will get better anyway) all the way to surgery (only for refractory sinusitis).
