Many: Sensations in or around the eye can be referred from many places, so it's best to get an eye exam to check to make sure all the eye structures are healthy.  Take note of any associated symptoms that may point to another system that could be affected.

Accepted Answer

Sinus congestion: Will not cause angle glaucoma.  In patients who have narrow anterior chamber angles (which would be diagnosed by an ophthalmologist), taking medications to treat a sinus infection could lead to an angle closure glaucoma attack.  If you have narrow angles, you should avoid decongestants and anti-histamines until you are told by your ophthalmologist that it's ok to use them.

Maybe: It would take a lot of caffeine to effect eye pressure and sinus congestion has no effect at all.  Certain cold and sinus meds can effect the pressure in narrow angle glaucoma.

Cause: First find out the cause [allergies, infection, polyps, etc.] then the treatment should be directed towards the cause not the symptoms.

Restasis: In some cases Restasis can cause redness and irritation of eyes. I am not aware that it increases signs of  sinusitis directly and specifically.

Allergies or  virus: "sinus" problems in children are often the result of viral upper respiratory infections.  If there are persistent positive findings of chronic sinusitis, then allergies, structural anomalies and immune disorders need to be ruled out. This is accomplished by pediatric ENT specialist.  If the child is robust and has no other problems, then is likely a minor issue.

Eye: Sinus infections can lead to preseptal or orbital cellilitis.  If your eye is painful with lots of drainage then see your primary doctor asap...
