Depends: Some people equate facial pressure or sinus pressure with a headache. This problem may be due to allergies or a sinus infection infection. This shouldn't cause nausea. If your headache is more of a migraine condition, then nausea would be commonly associated with that. If this is a longstanding problem for you, you should see a doctor to sort this out.

Sinus swelling: It could be but probably represents residual mswelling in the sinuses anf could be a low grade residual infection. See your doctor.

Be Happy.: Sounds like viral upper respiratory infection although you really didn't supply a lot of detail. This sounds to be resolving and you should expect all to clear in another weeks or so.

You : You should be ok as far as the HIV goes....But other std's need to be ruled out.  Your presentation is rather atypical for it...But syphilis needs to be checked.  Virus titres for CMV and ebv need to be checked as well (a chronic fatigue type presentation).  Hepatitis c should not be overlooked either.  It would be wise to do general chemistries, liver panels and CBC to rule out other potential problems.

Probably unrelated: Retinal holes are usually causes by physical problems within the eye, such as the vitreous gel pulling on the retina and causing a tear. Most cases of retinal holes are of unknown cause and are not usually associated with medical conditions. Symptoms of nausea, headache and sinus pain could be anything from migraine to influenza, and a medical examination would be needed to diagnose and treat.

Gotta treat those: Sinuses.  Try flonase, a nasal steroid.  You may have inflammation preventing drainage of the inner ear from post nasal drip and severe sinus pressure.  You may need antibiotics.  The vertigo will likely clear, as well as the headaches, with resolution of the sinus problems.  With a nasal steroid at night the post nasal drip becomes like an antiinflaamtory gruel and would likely help.  Gd luc.

Yes and yes: Nausea + head pain can occur with sinusitis &amp;/or migraines. Sinusitis and migraines are closely related--One can cause the other, and you can eventually have both. If no fever,treat the sinusitis first with a neti pot and/or long acting pseudoephedrine (if you don't have high BP), use naproxen if you still have a headache. If symptoms don't improve in a few days, go to your clinic to follow up

rct on #10 by endo 2months ago. pressure in upper jaw into sinus, headache, nausea. doc says wait for jawbone to rebuild but apico possible. wait months with these symptoms or get apico surgery?

Accurate diagnosis: Unless you have a very long root w a very large lesion at the apex, I am skeptical this is causing your problems.
I would recommend a second opinion by an endodontist.
Also, is the tooth sensitive when biting? And do you have swelling and/ or palpation tenderness at the apex? If yes to these, then an apico  or retreat is in order!
