If it triggers problems/pain/etc. there are management tools that can help.

The two most common tests for LPR are ph monitoring, also called ph-metry, and a barium swallow.

not eating within three hours of bedtime or laying down.
Avoiding slow emptying foods such as cows milk (casein part) and meat  might help.

Carbohydrates generally empty fast from the stomach.

Fatty foods, delay stomach emptying- try to avoid too much fat in your diet- even in your small meals.
