Feeling Good: There are several types of depression.  Reactive depression occurs as a result of loss and eventually we adjust.  If one does not adjust or if the cause is not clear certainly seek professional help.  "feeling good" by david burns is an excellent self-help book based on science.  Don't let the thickness of it intimidate you.  Take it bit by bit.  The very best to you.

Autism Spectrum D: Autism Spectrum Disorder can vary greatly in presentation.  Higher functioning autistics can be diagnosed later in childhood and early adulthood. Diagnosis is usually done by a developmental pediatrician, neurologist or psychiatrist. Flapping arms: Is one of those characteristic complex repetitive behaviors seen in autism.  But children without autism "flap" too.  It is not diagnostic Are there any other concerning behaviors?  If you have concerns you should talk to your pediatrician and have her evaluated.

No: That would more commonly be the sign of some type of trauma or an increased pressure in the eye. This can be from something as benign as vomiting or coughing or could be related to something more serious. It should be evaluated by a medical provider.

Weaning : Weaning any child from a bottle can be tricky.  Add autism into the mix and it's just become 10 times harder.  The problem is that she is going to have to take a cup eventually, so usually the sooner, the better.  Try to remember that it is your job to offer nutritious food and it's her job to eat it.  A child will not starve themselves if food is available.  The most important thing is to make sure she is staying hydrated.  Is she still urinating at least 3-4 times a day?  If so, you are in good shape and keep offering the cup.  If not, then you need to contact her doctor for another plan of action because it could be dangerous for her to become severely dehydrated. It's possible that a: Child with autistic spectrum disorder who acquires a large vocabulary but doesn't use it for age-appropriate reciprocal social i communication & has overdeveloped  pattern recognition &  rote memory is perceived as being precocious in developing preschool skills, while his non-compliance for non-preferred tasks, perseveration in preferred tasks & stereotypies are perceived as personality traits.

Maybe: Both are features but kids who struggle with communication may try to avoid situations where people are likely to try to engage them in conversation. I would have the kids doc do an autism screening or you can find some online & fill them out.Then proceed to your pcp and find how to get local help.
