Not sure: Not sure what is meant by 'poison ivy' shots. Decades ago there was a shot for 'poison ivy' but it was taken off  the market b/c of significant side effects.

Sunburn vs Poisoning: Sun poisoning is systemic illness causing nausea, weakness, headache, dizziness, decreased sweating and high temperature,  it is a very serious illness and should be evaluated and treated emergently. Severe sun burns can cause some systemic symptoms like above but are more local symptoms such as deep reddening of the skin with swelling and blistering with worsening pain. Seek help.

Possibly none: If the Prednisone is only taken for a short. Of time there may be no side effects. Rarely even with a short course you can be more nervous and hungry and rarely develop necrosis of your femoral head which is the top of your leg bone that connects to your hip.

SaveItForABarbeque: Activated charcoal adsorbs lots of stuff but is not used for"food poisoning"unless due to a toxic chemical,not the type of food poisoning from bacteria or viruses. Some say it's OK for gas but i don't think so.It comes as tablets &amp; as a liquid mixture.The mixture can get really messy &amp; tastes like Hawaiian poi.Take too much and it will constipate you.And if you take medications it will adsorb them

i have had 3 head ct scans in a month . i am worried about the radiation . can i die from having that many ct scans that close together . like radiation. poisoning or something is there side effects to haveing that many in row should i be worried?

: There is actually very little radiation in the CT scans so, if you had them all in the same place, the radiologist would not have allowed the studies to be done if there was concern about the amount of radiation. Hope this helps! Good luck!

my dr. rx'd triamcinolone cream 2x/day for poison ivy rash. are there any side effects or is it usually well tolerated w/out any adverse effects?

Not really: This is a moderate potency steroid cream and little if any will penetrate the skin and effect your body. It can decrease the angry irritation of the rash and reduce itching. Many use it for that purpose.You may be able to get similar benefit from a product called IVY DRY sold OTC at many box stores.

i am on prednisone and cephalexin for a fairly bad case of poison ivy. are there any side effects of smoking some pot while on these two?

Cephalexin isn't the: treatment for poison ivy, so they must be treating you for an infection, in which case i would recommend no smoking or alcohol especially while on meds!

is this still in my blood i inhaled very toxic vapors that caused me to pass out stopped my air intake and caused skin rash and more side effects these were heavy petroleum tank type vapors that a fireman said son you just got poisoned and i see your skin

Hello. : Hello. This is worrisome. Toxic vapors enter through our lungs and move from there into our blood stream. Depending on the chemicals, they often can effect the membranes of your eyes, nose and throat. The fact that you lost consciousness is significant. I hope that you accepted ambulance transport to the hospital to be evaluated. I can not tell you if the toxins are still in your blood stream. The problem is that even, if they aren't there can be damage to particular areas of your body. Please get checked out.
