??: Do you mean tempromandibular jt or trapeziometacarpal joint?   Both give problems frequently.  The trapeziometacarpal joint is the 2nd most common joint to develop arthritis.  Makes a huge difference.  Please be more clear in your questions.

Yoga: Painless joint noises are almost always benign. They may reflect vacuum joint phenomenon or just capsular tightness. Yoga & stretching are great!

OSTEOARTHRITIS: Children who have hip dysplasia commonly develop osteoarthritis in the hips at an early age.  This needs to be treated with medicine and/or with physical therapy.  Despite aggressive medical management, young adults with your history may ultimate require total hip replacements.  You need to see you physician to set up treatment

Osteoarthritis : Probably at your age, you have developed degenerative joint disease. Osteoarthritis involves many different joints and you can notice stiffness and lack of elasticity in your joints.

Hard to tell: A lot of patients are concerned about their joints popping and grinding. Unfortunately, this is the least sensitive symptom of all when it relates to the diagnosis of joint disorder. Popping could be normal, a snapping tendon may cause it. Tendon rupture, bone dislocation may be causing it. I would ask you to report other symptoms you may be having to correctly guide you in further work up.

Usu osteoarthritis: Joints pop when the gas in the joint fluid is pulled out of solution by negative pressure.  This can be seen in a normal joint but is seen more often in injured joints and in joints with osteoarthritis.  Stiffness is usually associated with arthritis.

Examination needed: Multiple causes are possible. You could be complaining of a painful snapping hip (psoas tendon or iliotibial band are common culprits). Internal joint damage is also possible: tears of the labrum or joint cartilage can cause intermittent painful catching. A thorough examination by your pcp or orthopaedic surgeon will likely lead to e answer for your hip.
