Probably dislocated: A clicking or popping in your jaw joint usually indicates that it is dislocated. The noise if usually the cartilage slipping into and out of position. The later it clicks on opening usually means it is becoming more difficult to get it back in place. If this is the case it will not fix itself and will deteriorate over time. Check with your dentist for help or a referral.
