working on computer, window behind me. could see reflection of outside on screen. bright sunny day. could sun glare damage eyes this way?

I believe you could: experience the effects of glare from this mechanism. Glare is light that does not help to create a clear image on the retina. Disability glare reduces contrast and interferes with the clarity of a visual image. Glare can cause headaches, eye pain and chronic computer screen glare can lead to dry eye syndrome. Wear protective lenses/sunglasses when outside. Reposition monitor; try anti-glare screen

Glare from cataract: The glare is most likely due to the cataract. As light goes through the cloudy lens it get scattered causing the glare.

Yes: The surface lining of the front of the eye is a skin, with many biochemical characteristics in common with ordinary skin.  So it can burn from sunlight (wear sunglasses), tanning bed light ( they usually supply an eye cover) and uv light burns such as arc welding and accidental electrical light sparking.  All of these can create a painful "sunburn" of the front of the eye.

Sunglasses ok: After any refractive procedure you can go in the sun with sunglasses at anytime depending your comfort level.  You must wear 100% uv protected sun glasses all the time especially after lasek for 6 months not to get any scarring on your cornea.

Probably dry/exposur: Your eyes are probably showing the effects of dryness with redness of the white parts, scratchiness, blurring, tearing, and discomfort. Sun, wind, dust exposure can intensify the redness. Try sunglasses and artificial tears that you can buy over the counter. If no help, see an eye MD. Good luck.

No: You sunglasses protect your eyes from damaging uv rays. The don't cause reflection toward your skin. You should wear sunglasses  whenever you are in the sun.

Yellow eyes: Yellow eyes can be a sign of jaundice, which is caused by elevated levels of bilirubin in the bloodstream. There are several dangerous conditions which cause jaundice. You need a blood test right away to check your liver enzymes, and also direct and total bilirubin. Imaging of the abdomen with CT or ultrasound may also be needed.

i've always, since childhood, seen halos and glares at night. i always thought it's normal. is it, or should i have my eyes checked?

Halos: Your halos may actually be glares but it is best to get checked by an eye doctor to rule out glaucoma.

hi there iv had big blotchs in my eye vision for 3 days now iv been to dr but they didnt no what the problem was ? its like iv been look at the sun

Vision test: It is time for your vision test rand correction as necessary. Go to a licensed ophthalmologist and not necessarily  an optometrist, who can give you glasses if cleared by ophthalmologist. Feel better
