Inform your doctor: There is no persisting pain expected after colonoscopic examination. I would advise you to inform your doctor who did the procedure and seek his guidance. It may be a complication due to this procedure or just a change in bowel activity due to vigorous preparation(If you are able to eat and there is no vomiting or fever, you are probably going to be Ok). Have your bowels moved yet?

Need Work Up: Severe left-sided pain around the rib cage could indicate a problem in any of the following areas: stomach and gas, cardiac, lung-related, musculoskeletal, intestinal, pancreas and less likely spleen. Given the constant and unremitting nature of your pain, I would suggest an urgent evaluation, possibly with ultrasound and routine bloodwork to start.

Get a physical!: New onset sharp left sided abdominal pain can have many etiologies.  Without a physician history and examination, it is hard to guess the cause.  Musculoskeletal pains, constipation, kidney infection, enlarged spleen, diverticulitis among possibilities....

Rib pain: The symptom you describe does not sound related to a cardiac problem. The pain could be related to a musculoskeletal inflammation and may improve with rest and/or antiinflammatories(Tylenol (acetaminophen) etc.)If you have cardiac risk factors and the symptoms persist you may want a formal evaluation by your primary care doctor or cardiologist.

Likely muscle strain: If it's affected by movement or pushing on it, it's likely muscular. Sometimes moving wrong or coughing hard can strain a rib mucle, can be quite painful, but not dangerous unless worsens, becomes short of breath, or fails to resolve within 2 weeks.

Cardiac: pericaridits, aortic disorder.

for the last 8-9 months, i have had increasing left side pain, under my rib cage. pcp sent me to a gi, nothing found but a slight enlarged spleen.  last 3 days, pain has become unbearable, sharp and non-stop.

Go to an ER now: 3 days of unbearable pain is very concerning!  It may not be related to your previous pain, or it can be a worsening of whatever was causing the pain in the first place.  Please go to an ER now if you cannot see your doctor now.  Best wishes!

WHERE THE INCISIONS: YOU HAD LAPROSCOPY GOR ENDOMETRIOSIS,
where are your incisions, if you have an incision close to your ribs that could explain the pain.
otherwise my advise talk to your surgeon, they might have an explanation.
otherwise  apply heat pad and take ibuprofen.

See your doctor: Pleurisy, musculoskeletal. Have your doctor exclude more serious things such as problems with spleen, kidney, distal pancreas, colon. Also exclude pneumonia, pneumothorax, pulmonary embolism. This is a very common complaint. A thorough history and physical, perhaps a chest x-ray, should get to the bottom of it. Keep track of any fevers, cough, shortness of breath, bowel or urinary symptoms.
