Many things: It could be from uterus, ovary, appendix or colon. If you have fever and nausea then that could be appendicitis so you should be seen by a doctor immediately. If the pain is severe then see a doctor as soon as possible to get an exam and testing to sort this out.

See a doctor: You may have a groin strain. It will most likely go away with stretches and simple over the counter painkillers.
If it does not go away in a week, please see a doctor.

Hard to tell: You should try some conservative measures first (tylenol, heating pad, massages, etc) as long as you are not having any vomiting, fevers, bleeding, or leakage of fluid.  If the pain worsens or doesn't improve after the above measures, then see your doctor to be evaluated.

Sharp groin pain: More likely to be musculo-skeletal (eg "groin pull") in origin.

?Pelvis: Since the symptoms are bilateral, pelvic congestion or inflammation may be the problem. I recommend that your gynecologist examine you if symptoms persist .

Abdominal Muscle: or "Groin PULL" sound like the "culprit! What sort of activities have you had recently, injuries, work, play????
Think about it you will most likely figure it out since there are not any INTRA-abdominal (bowel etc) structures that can give you pain when you "move"!

i've been on my period for 11 days now. the first few days it was pretty light, but for the passed 7 days its been pretty heavy... i've also been having very severe cramping and sharp pains near my groin. what should i do? what is going on with my body?

DUB?: You may have DUB dysfunctional uterine bleeding, a common occurrence caused by continuous estrogen stimulation to your uterus. Was your period on schedule or irregular? Did you have a recently positive pregnancy test? Are you taking hormonal contraceptives with recent dose change? You can watch your periods for 3 months since DUB may correct itself. If not, see your clinician. Hope that helps.

Epididymitis: Painful Testicles is worrysome for Infection of outer lining of the testicle the epididymis and needs acute attention. If Blood flow decreases then it is a medical emergency and so best is to go to the nearest ER to check with Doppler Ultrasound Testicular Blood Flow! If not attended to quickly the patient may be at risk of testicular loss!Hopefully it is just an infection responsive to antibiotic

Get checked!: Severe pain is always scary!  Sometimes it ends up being a temporary minor problem, other times it can be serious.  Pain in that area could indicate a hernia.  If there is pain with a hernia that may mean it is incarcerated (strangulated), which is serious.  See a doc quickly.  If the pain does not resolve promptly, worsens, he has fever, vomiting go to an ER!
