Hearing test: Lloyds chemists have nothing to do with a hearing test. You should never rely on a hearing test without intervention of an ENT specialist (Ear-Nose and Throat specialist), especially if it's your first time getting a diagnosis. Lloyd's is specialized however in hearing aids. Get your ear exam and audiogram from ENT not the supplier of the Hearing Aid that they will sell you, conflict of interest.

Unsure: There are only a couple of fda approved home HIV test kits.  Lloyds may just be distributing a test for another company. You should go on-line and specifically see if an fda approval has been issued for the name of the manufacturer. Make sure you test exactly as stated, no exceptions. Follow instructions explicitly for the results to be meaningful.

: "is there nothing I can do to stop it"- Are you referring to the Catheterization? Have you been catheterized since the operation. A follow up with your Dr is most likely needed to sort this out. Typically catheterization is needed for drainage following use of strong anesthetic meds. It does not typically continue for 2  months unless there are other problems.

hi, i have had an irritable bladder for 45 days. i took solifenacin for 21 days and was then put on tolterodone for 6.5 days, but the problem is still there. i heard that a botox injection will cure it. is this true? sharon reddell?

: Depends on cause of irritable bladder. Botox can help with the symptoms for4-6 months but is not a cure.

TMJ: This may be TMJ symptoms.  The sound is from the disc in the joint popping back into place as your jaw opens.  The pain is from the nerves in the tissue that are stretched and pinched when the disc is pushed out of place.

See your doctor: You most likely have cartilage damage or erosion, and this should be evaluated sooner rather than later.

Get it checked out: The hip is a very complex joint.  It sounds like you could have snapping hip syndrome or perhaps labral damage.  See your doc for a good physical exam and potentially some imaging.  Best of luck!

Pain=signal: Your body tries to let you know when you exceed its limits. It also provides pain when the involved structures are infected or otherwise compromised. Either the pace of your self sex activities have created this issue or you have developed an infection of the prostate or other structures. If taking a break does not solve the problem in a day or 2 get in for an evaluation.

Back pain: Cough and Sharp pain with a deep breath in the upper back may be due to pleurisy or early pneumonia. Fever,sweats,wheeze,chills are other symptoms of pneumonia. Pain lower in the back is seen with kidney stones or infection. The nausea is nonspecific. If symptoms persist or worsen, see your physician for diagnosis and treatment. Appropriate testing will be done.

See a doctor: you should see an osteopathic physician who does spinal manipulation. You may have damaged the rib cage or cartilage associated with the ribs.
