Doubtful: This sounds like a sprained muscle/tendon, and should improve with time and ice andanti-inflammatories and avoidance of aggravating activities.  If symptoms do not improve with time, then see a physician to evaluate for possible less common causes such as a disc herniation.

Low impact: Aquatics, body weight, or resistance bands/ tubing  biking, and/or elliptical. Aquatics allow you to perform body weight exercises, but being in water actually reduces the stress on your body due to buoyancy. Once you are able to perform body weight activities then look to add light resistance w/ bands/ tubing.

Possibly: Depending on what exercise you are doing and what is going on with your uterus if you are having pain, u should see your doc even if it is not time for your normal OB check, i always work my preg pts in if they are having pain.

Ankle Dorsiflexion: Ankle dorsiflexion means to move your ankle so your foot moves up towards your knee. This can be done while standing by putting your foot behind you and stretching your heel to the ground. Alternate sides. Go gently at first as you can actually over do stretching. Good luck!

No substitute : There is no substitute for exerecse. Stretch, strengthening and low impact cardio. Start easy and often, don't over do it, then increase gradually. Slow but steady wins the race.

Ask your Surgeon: With your underlying spinal issues and previous surgery, it is important to ask your Neuro-surgeon/Surgeon what exercises are best for you, as each pt is different and your specific case may warrant a different recommendation regarding the exercises you should be doing. Gradually: You can generally increase your activity after 4 weeks.  If it doesn't hurt it is probably ok. If you feel pulling, tugging, pain, or pressure in the pelvis you are doing too much and should ease up.

Continue living: In the absence of symptoms, you should continue to stay active. Nothing sounds bad enough to need intervention. Use your common sense with activity.
