Yes: Scars darken much more quickly than dark skin, making them more prominent.  Protect it from the sun, massage it and look for a good scar therapy (i.e. Silicone sheeting) to try and improve the appearance.

No: Peeling it may disrupt your body defenses.

It should heal soon: With daily wound care (covering the wound with a bandage and antibiotic if there are signs of infection) the wound should heal quickly. See your doctor if you develop fever, chills, redness at the wound site or colored wound drainage.

A topical antibiotic: See a podiatrist or your family physician. Silvadine cream is often used to treat burns . It is soothing and helps prevent infection.

Clean site: Keep the area clean and dry. Apply a thin layer of antibiotic ointment three times daily and aloe vera cream three times daily until well. Watch for signs of infection such as swelling and redness.

Yes: A second degree burn involves a partial thickness injury to the skin. The epidermis usually separates from the dermis and often forms fluid filled blisters. Usually the damaged superficial layer of skin peels or sloughs off as the skin underneath heals. This peeling can also happen in some 1st degree burns (e.G sunburn).

You should see a Dr.: Facial burns are serious and you should be seen by a plastic surgeon. Although most airbag burns can be treated with topical creams and antibiotics, some may require further therapy.

Burn: You should moisturizer this area with non scented lotion and keep it from being exposed to the sun. Have it evaluated by a surgeon familiar with burn care. The face heals extremely well so hopefully you won't need and other treatment.

last night i burned myself on an oven and i believe i received a smallish second degree burn on my leg. the burn is white and below the first layer of skin. is it okay to use neosporin on it? i cleaned it and put a bandaid. what should i do next?

: It is okay to put an antibiotic cream on the raw area. Triple antibiotic cream may be even better. 
It should heal on its own, but depending on the thickness of the burn, there may be residual pigmentation and/or scar.

Hyper pigmentation: If your burn is recent then it is likely to fade with time.  The deeper the burn, the longer the Healing phase.  Some folks tend to hyper pigment more than others and sun exposure while healing can make it worse.  There are treatments for hyper pigmentation (laser, bleaching type creams).  However if the burn scarred the skin then it is more difficult and may require excision.
