Sclerosis : CT is better for bone. MRI is very good for bone issues. You can ask the radiologist to read it again, a pelvic MRI usually used to see the organs not bones.

Probably arthritis.: Sclerosis means excessive loading of the joint, as seen in arthritis.
One may or may not have pain /stiffness with it. These are fairly stable joints with thick ligaments around them, but with injury(ies) can develop arthritis, causing pain, tiredness etc.

Yes and No: This is a finding that can confuse both physicians and patients alike.  Typically sacroiliac pain is a constellation of symptoms and one aspect of the pain issue in this area involves the actual bone on bone interaction.  The other aspects of this problem stems from the ligaments which attach the two bones on the posterior side and the joint capsule on the anterior side which all cause pain.

No: The sacroiliac joint is ligamentously very closed and stable. But if the inflammation is severe enough it can irritate elements of the sciatic nerve which is nearby.
